AufgabenDaimler strengthens its R&D capabilities in China by putting its most advanced and comprehensive R&D Tech Center outside Germany into operation. The fully-fledged R&D Center combines engineering and testing power under one roof. The new test building features seven state-of-the-art testing facilities, including e.g. Engine, Emission, Battery, E-Drive, NVH, Chassis and Charging lab. We want to hire you as Lab Maintenance Engineer in RD Tech Center China and take care of the below tasks:
1. Technical leading for test bench maintenance.
•Technical leading and troubleshooting for all kinds of problems happened at test bench.
•Overall understand the test building, MEP system and test labs.
•Familiar with AHU system, PLC, Emission analyzer, Chambers, Deep cold chillers, battery simulators.
•Capability of analysing, diagnosing and solving complex failures of test labs independently,
•Definition of KPIs and steering/operating in accordance with the existing KPI set (OEE, Technical... availability, Big Breakdowns, Equipment Performance Factor, Problem solving).
2. Maintenance overall management.
•Setup MB own maintenance team to build the core competence of the labs
•Leading maintenance team to cooperate with operation team/ internal customers
•Planning & execution of annual maintenance and all kinds of sensors, dynometers calibration of test labs.
•Lab maintenance spare part management based on efficiency & cost balance way.
•Set up & optimize lab maintenance process to fit for department target.
•Set up framework for contracts with relevant suppliers for maintenance and service scope.
3. Cross-function task.
•Regular report regarding maintenance and performance of the suppliers.
•Regular contact and follow up with all the related parties such as lab operation team, purchasing, workshop, warehouse, etc.
•Budget planning and monitoring for annual maintenance costs for labs.QualifikationenEducation
•University degree for automotive engineering, mechanical engineering or related engineering background.
•At least 10 years’ experience or above or similar technical field.
•Educational experience or assignments abroad are preferred.
Experience & Specific Knowledge
•Min. 5 years of work related experience or above in test lab planning or maintenance work.
•Familiar with building structure and building management system, for example the firefighting system. Building management system
•Familiar with the MEP (Mechanical, Electricity and plumbing) system. Know the working principle and status of TCC.
•Experienced in following test labs or related testing facility maintenance in auto industry are highly preferred
•E-drive Lab, Engine Lab, Emission Lab, Battery Lab, Charging Lab, NVH Lab, VOC Lab or other similar related test labs or technical field. Experienced in AVL and KS test bench is highly preferred.
•Ability to read mechanical design document and software requirement documents including electrical drawings.
•Be familiar with the selection and integrated design of temperature control instruments, pressure control instruments, low-voltage electrical components and control elements (flow meters, solenoid valve actuators), and be familiar with the use of frequency converters.
