Job Summary

DAP (Digital Access Program) is an exciting program which "meets prospective UPS customers where they are" by engaging e-commerce firms and integrating UPS technology into their online platforms. By making UPS an integral part of the technologies online sellers are already using to sell, promote, and distribute their goods to consumers, UPS distinguishes itself as the industry leader... in e-commerce and becomes the natural "go-to" shipping carrier for web merchants in the U.S. and worldwide.

This position is responsible for reporting program metrics, business planning and ad-hoc data requests utilizing a variation of data sources to analyze and interpret information. This role gathers, analyses and converts global shipment and revenue performance data into useful information for the team. This position summarizes and communicates results of analyses to key stakeholders throughout the organization. The incumbent must be skilled in computer-based data analytics and information management tools.

Responsibilities
• Gathers data and prepares performance reporting, analyses and presentations
• Analyzes large amounts of data from complex data requests and develop reports/presentations to communicate results and key findings
• Executes and validates weekly/monthly reporting for overall program and platforms
• Supports development of annual DAP Business Plan, and monthly forecasting processes
• Defines methodology and best practices for generating reports and providing analytical insights
• Consults with internal subject matter experts to assist in identifying the best approach to gathering information and solving business issues
• Prepares key findings documents to explain data analysis
• Summarizes and communicates to key stakeholders throughout the organization
• Reviews, prioritizes & translates ad-hoc reporting requests
• Employs strong project management skills involving multiple work streams with tight deadlines and high attention to detail
• Builds relationships cross functionally internally/externally to drive project execution

Preferences
• Displays strong database skills using technical programs and UPS internal systems such as DWH and InfoLib
• Possesses strong communication (written/verbal) skills
• Demonstrates presentation development capabilities; is comfortable engaging with and speaking to varied audiences
• Adept at thoroughly defining problems and structuring analytical paths to solving them; disaggregates problems into key issues to efficiently solve them; selects efficient analytical approaches that fit the situation; investigates and diagnoses anomalies within business results
• Possesses an understanding of implementation objectives, project plan, and one's role within a project and participates in the implementation of a project
• Communicates with other functions, provides timely, thorough, and concise updates for area of responsibility; identifies areas of risk and properly communicates them to the project manager
• Demonstrates advanced skills with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Power BI) and SQL
• Master’s Degree (or internationally comparable degree)
• Demonstrates knowledge of e-commerce industry
