Overseeing the transportation of goods from the supplier to the customer. This includes shipment routing, freight forwarding, and tracking.
Capable of controlling the amount of inventory in the organisation. This includes setting inventory levels, monitoring inventory levels, and reordering inventory as needed.
Strong understanding of the permit application process, customs regulations, calculating container stuffing requirements, tracking shipments, and dealing with rejections and claims.
Capable of locating the best suppliers for the company, negotiating the best prices, and managing the supplier relationship.
Strong understanding of the local market, customer needs, and local regulations.
Managing Audit to ensure... that suppliers adhere to the organization's standards.
Experience conducting quality checks on incoming goods to ensure they meet the required standards and specifications.
