Our client, a privately owned real estate investment firm, is looking for a Bilingual Accountant to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. The client is located in Gatineau, Quebec and this will be a fully on-site position. There is free parking available onsite as well. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in full cycle accounting. The candidate must also be fluent in both English and French (reading, writing and speaking).

Job Description:

• Handle full-cycle accounting for company portfolio

• Ensure all GST/QST/HST and other legislated taxes and assessments are reconciled and remitted

• Monitor cash positions and anticipate future cash deficiencies

• Monthly reconciliation and understanding of all balance sheet accounts and produce monthly financial statements

• Oversee and review monthly construction progress claim and development draw requests

• Complete year end operating cost adjustments and tenant billings for assigned properties
