As a Senior Business Analyst, you will join Milestone’s Controlling and FP&A Department based in our office in Brøndby. The department supports Milestone across functions and global regions on all financial related areas. Specifically, you will join our Data & Reporting team which is comprised of energetic and ambitious people in an environment that supports your development and learning.

The function is divided into two main... areas: first, focusing on our business finance area with dedicated finance business partners and second, our data team that supports both Finance and management on financial planning and analysis.

This position offers you opportunities for broad exposure to the business and to showcase your ability to drive business processes, identifying areas of improvement, and developing solutions to improve data efficiency and effectiveness within the Controlling and FP&A function as well as Group Finance.

Key responsibility areas are:
Your primary responsibility will be to create and/or mature procedures that ensure data accuracy and accessibility within financial processes and to execute projects associated with the planning and building of data architecture within Group Finance.

You will do this by developing and standardizing appropriate data models that drive the business forward in cooperation with the Business Partners and Business Analysts. There is also opportunity to develop predictive analytics tools as well as interpreting the results they deliver to improve insights on performance.

Lastly, you will also own the Financial Target Model in Milestone including the target setting process from a data/model perspective. In addition to this a key role will be to support the long-term financial planning and secure the appropriate data / model structure. Other responsibilities in the role are:
• Continuous review of processes and procedures to optimize, standardize and improve data and automation within Group Finance.
• Working with key stakeholders, continuously develop and transform financial data and reporting into user friendly tools, insights, and processes.
• Act as a sparring partner for the Head of the data team on financial data, model, and system architecture.
• Support the team with reporting tasks, model, and data issue.
• Supporting implementation and follow-up on key projects within finance.
• Drive collaboration with other departments in Milestone on data/reporting/model landscape.

Who are you?
The right candidate is an enthusiastic and ambitious team player with a strong toolbox in problem solving and data analysis. You are also willing to engage and collaborate with colleagues and can demonstrate your experience managing projects in a cross-functional setting. We are looking for the following qualifications and experience:
• Master’s degree within business, IT or finance or other relevant fields.
• +5 years of working experience – preferably in Finance or IT-Consulting areas focusing on data analytics and the use of digitalization within finance.
• Solid project management skills.
• MS Office super-user - especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Preferably experience working with SQL databases, Power BI and Prophix (or related consolidation tools).
• Fluency in English (orally and in writing).
• People skills – you can connect and create trust with colleagues as you will work with many different stakeholders throughout business.
