Hiring a Senior Accountant (Cost & GL) in a Manufacturing Company Based in Jeddah, KSA.
Position Title: Senior Accountant (Cost & GL)
This position will be reporting to Chief Accountant of the Company.
Overall Responsibilities:
 To be responsible for the allocation of production & other costs for the manufacturing, Closing the monthly accounting books & work in close coordination with Chief Accountant to manage accounting matters.
Cost & Management Accounting:
 Responsible for Collecting & Analyzing on Operational Costs.
 Preparation, Checking & Analyzing Material Consumption Reports & Variances for material issued for production.
 Preparation of Manufacturing Cost/Cost of Goods Produced & Sold.
 Updating the Costing Data in Software/ERP.
General Ledger Accounting:
 Timely & Accurate Preparation of Month Close end Reports.
 Preparation of Journal Vouchers & Recording in Software/ERP.
 Preparation of Monthly Schedules including Depreciation, Prepayments, Accruals & Advances and... their analysis and presentation.
 Preparation of Monthly Management/ Financial Accounting Reports & Analyze Variances.
 Preparation of Cash Flow Statement & Analyze Variances.
Others:
 Check & Approve Petty Cash Vouchers.
 Check & Verify Payroll Register.
 Assist Chief Accountant in Annual Budget Preparation Process.
 Any other tasks assigned.
Education & Qualification:
 Minimum Bachelor in Accounting & Finance, preference will be given to members of Professional Accounting Bodies i.e. CMA, CA, ACCA, CPA or any other Professional Accounting Body.
 Good understanding of Zakat, VAT & Other Regulations.
Experience:
 5 – 8 years of Professional work experience.
 Recent experience in a FMCG Industry and/or Manufacturing Company is preferred.
Language:
 Good Command in English writing & Speaking.
 Preference will be given to Bilingual Candidates i.e. English & Arabic.
