We are looking for a Sales Engineer to join our Process Automation Business Line. As a Sales Engineer you will be responsible for automation and drives portfolio and preparation of technical and commercial solution proposals. As ABB is a world leader in these segments, on this position you will be working with the innovative, modern, and state-of-the-art technology and have an opportunity for professional development. From our office in Zagreb, we are covering several countries in the region (Croatia, Bosnia ... Herzegovina, Albania, North Macedonia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Serbia) for following industry segments: Power generation, Oil & Gas, Water utilities, Metals, Pulp & Paper, Cement etc.
Your responsibilities
• - Working with automation and drive systems portfolio
• - Preparation of technical and commercial parts of the offers
• - Participation in preparation of proposals for public bid procedures
• - Maintenance of opportunity records in Salesforce CRM
• - Analysis of customer expectations and tender requirements
• - Helping customers to find most suitable technical solutions based on ABB portfolio according to their requirements and needs
• - Clarification of the technical and commercial part of the offer and participation in negotiations with customers
• - Business trips to customer locations based on requirements during preparation of proposals
• - Actively participating in organization and participation of ABB customer events promoting latest solutions in field of automation and drive systems
• - Coordinating with Sales Manager agreed sales efforts, monitoring sales results and developing market strategies according to relevant technological trends and standards

Your background
• - Bachelor's/Master's degree in electrical engineering
• - Between 2 and 5 years on similar position
• - Experience with automation (PLC, DCS, HMI, SCADA, etc.) and/or drive systems (LV and/or MV drives)
• - Previous experience in engineering and commissioning is an advantage
• - Previous experience in public bid procedures is an advantage
• - Understanding of electrical documentation, schematics and circuit diagrams
• - Ability to create precise and detailed technical and commercial proposals according to given specifications
• - Good knowledge in both spoken and written English language
• - Excellent knowledge of Croatian language
• - Very good knowledge of MS Office applications is mandatory
• - Readiness for travel and visits to customers according to market allocation
• - Driver's license for B category
• - Positive, energetic and extrovert personality
• - Orientation towards achieving goals and problem solving
• - Team spirit with strong sense of responsibility
• - Highly expressed communication skills
