Job Description

As Civil Works Project Manger you will be responsible for monitoring of all site-based construction activities of ACS projects under tendering and execution in the area ERCIS as per GE Quality, Construction & EHS Process and guidelines; and provide Construction expertise to contribute to targeted tenders to support bid management team for ACS tenders in the Area, and will be fully responsible for coordination with customer representatives to ensure client compliance & satisfaction as per the contract.

During ITO, for major and complex projects, the Civil Works Project Manager will be integrated in the ITO team and with the following scope assignment:

Contractors mapping and contractor pre-selection

Contractor meeting, Scope of work presentation, building strategy

Scope identification, Design and Build, Civil, EM erection, Com, Site facilities…Define a Division of Responsabillity (DOR)
Support Contractual scheme:
Exclusivity, Consortium Lead integration of the Construction Contractor into the Tender studies toward competitive and successful bid submission

In addition, you will be the focal point for the Construction Contractor, for any interfaces: technical, scope, contractual, organizational

You will define with the bid manager and other functional leaders a limitative list of tender deliverables to be issued by the Construction Contractors, and will supervise their timely and quality issuance.

Required Qualifications:

Engineering degree, preferable in civil or construction discipline

Significant work of work experience in Construction Engineering or Management Fluent in German and English Proven ability to communicate effectively at all level of organization and both internal and external stakeholders

IT proficiency, MS office, BIM Naviswork, Apps awareness

Availability and willingness to travel

Desired Characteristics:

Knowledge of Contract Management Be knowledgeable on environmental legislation and good industry practice in relation to construction works
