We are looking for an experienced SeniorAccountant for our... fast growing Finance team in Heraklion, Crete.

Responsibilities
• Registration of the Accounting ledger entries (expenses, assets etc)
• Supervise the reconciliations for the month end / year end closing processes
• Participation in the preparation process of the Financial Statements under the Greek GAAP and IFRS
• Interpret and implement the Group accounting policies and Company’s Agreements along with the Greek legislation
• Preparation of the data that are used for the corporate tax returns, (VAT, CIT, etc.)
• Ensure all the accounting deadlines are met
• Communicating and Cooperating with the public authorities and the Auditors for accounting issues
• Lead , supervise and develop a team of Junior Accountants

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related fields
• MSc in Accounting or ACCA will be considered as a plus
• Minimum 6 years of combined experience in relevant roles
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, including Excel
• Excellent knowledge of the English language
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Team oriented attitude
• Willingness for perpetual learning and development
