SmithGroupis looking for aMarketing Managerto join our team. Regional
Management Manage, mentors and coaches the regional marketing team of
Proposal and Marketing Specialists. Leads employee recruitment and
interviews of prospective marketing staff. Manages the overall training
approach of the region including identification of training needs for
new hires and key leadership related to pursuits, branding, awards,
systems, processes, photography and communications. Serves as a partner
to the leadership in the region to ensure marketing and sales needs are
met. Communicates marketing and communications standards, guidelines and
tools to drive efficiency and effectiveness in the region. Directs the
work of the team to ensure the collection, organization and ongoing
management of Marketing Data and Assets that are vital to the firm
within key information systems including Deltek Vision, OpenAsset,
SharePoint and Microsoft Teams. Shares monthly and quarterly reports for
various leadership groups summarizing sales data and effectiveness,
communications and awards. Proposal and Pursuits Works with leadership
to determine strategies for proposals and presentations; hands-on
planning and development of strategic customized responses to RFPs and
as part of interview preparation. Manages the proposal and interview
workload for the region. Has quality review responsibility of all
pursuit-related resources & collateral. Guides the development and
execution of go/no-go decision-making, planning, and win strategies to
successfully capture work. Leads/coaches proposal and interview efforts
as required. Brand Recognition Serves as the face of marketing for the
region and regularly updates staff on marketing strategy, brand,
