Due to continued business expansion, we are looking for a Technical Lead (m/f/d) to support our project development and construction activities in renewable energy. This position is based in our Bogotá office.

Your responsibilities:
• Manage and coordinate technical project development activities for renewable energy projects such as solar, wind or energy efficiency in Latin America incl. the Caribbean
• Support the technical team in reviewing and evaluating projects
• Lead the design workstream on a portfolio of projects related to renewable energy, grid connections and private networks... Typical projects include feasibility studies, optioneering, FEED, detailed design and design assurance.
• Collaborate with business development and client engagement on portfolio of clients such as National Grid, large commercial and industrial companies, private and public entities.
• Lead on internal technical governance related to bidding and project delivery.

Your profile:
• Degree in electrical engineering, alternatively civil or mechanical engineering with specialization in electrical energy
• Strong technical understanding of the renewable energy sector and previous experience leading technical teams both for large-scale projects and distributed generation projects
• Profound knowledge of project development and legal requirements in order to take a project to a ready-to-build stage
• Ability to identify the most appropriate solutions to a wide range of projects, including promoting innovative ideas
• Previous experience within bidding and business development as this is a key aspect of the role
• Fluency in English and Spanish (both written and spoken)
• Willingness to frequently travel within Latin American incl. Caribbean
