Station Road Nursery School is currently seeking a Supervisor and Lead Teacher for a full-time permanent position. Our ideal candidate is a professional, with previous in-class and supervisory experience, who is positive, adaptable, hardworking, who works well in a team environment, who has a passion working with children, and for whom the achievement and well-being of their students is first priority.

Our Supervisor and Lead Teacher will:
- Oversee routine schedules and classrooms;
- Lead activities and take children to local points of interest and provide opportunities to express creativity through art, dramatic play, music and physical activity;
- Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs and preparing crafts;
- Support Early Childhood Educators in carrying out/implementing programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children;
- Assess the abilities, interests and needs of children and discuss progress or concerns with... parents and other staff members;
- Build and maintain responsive and collaborative relationships with families;
- Support, encourage and work collaboratively with colleagues and community service providers working with children;
- Assist with submitting written observations on children to Early Childhood Educators;
- Ensure procedures are followed for monitoring behaviour management practices and Compliance and Contravention staff tracking;
- Value lifelong learning and reflective practice and engage in the Continuous Professional Learning program;
- Attend staff meetings and prepare to present a program outline;
- Ensure policies and procedures follow the requirements in the Child Care and Early Years Act;
- Complete staff written evaluations.

Education:
- Registered Early Childhood Education Diploma or Degree

-Our Educators Essential Requirements:
· Prior Early Childhood Educator experience
· Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Reference Check
· Current CPR certificate, Level C
· All immunizations are up to date & concur per WDGPH
