Assistant Financial Accountant

Key roles and responsibilities

Preparation of Monthly Financial Reports.
Preparation of payments and submission of all statutory returns such as Napsa, Nhima, Paye, Vat, Itx, PLevy.
Preparation of annual audits.
Ensure daily recording of transactions into Sage Partner and Sage Evolution Fixed Assets Register.
Bank Reconciliations.
Customers and Suppliers Recons
Invoicing Sales and receiving purchases into the accounting system.
Inventory management
Payroll preparations using Dove payroll

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, ACCA II, CIMA II, ZICA or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in accounting
Demonstrated strong financial and organizational skills
Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office,Excel, Word and Power Point.
Member of ZICA a must
