Duties & Responsibilities
• Sells all facts of the hotel and cross sell other hotel properties in Hong Kong
• Assists in producing the Annual Revenue
• Assists in producing, implementing and monitoring action plans to ensure Revenue Plan objectives are achieved
• Analyses current and potential markets/trends, coordinates all activities to maintain and increase revenue through added business volume and increased rate
• Procures new and repeat business for the hotel by monitoring contact with airlines, travel agencies, commercial houses, private clubs and professional associations within local and international markets
• Creates and implements special programmes to achieve greater productivity
• Establishes and continuously updates mailing lists/database to keep clients be informed of the latest development of the Company
• Entertains regular and potential clients and their visiting VIPs
• Plans and conducts familiarization tours and site inspections
• Co-ordinates the development of all promotional materials
• Provides market intelligence on economic trends and monitors competitor activities
• Maintains close liaison with Global Sales teams and those of other properties to ensure the hotel receives proper corporate consideration, direction and support
• Organizes and attends major sales event and activities/PR related functions
• Carries out any other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma holder in Sales/ Marketing, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or related field is preferred
• With 5 years' related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, colleagues and third parties
• A team player with good problem solving, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
