• Reporting to the Manager, Community and Social, the Social Media Analyst will support across a variety of social and digital media priorities across Viral Nation’s portfolio of clients
• Prepare client-facing dashboards through extracting, sorting and archive data
• Reporting & Insights - Provide timely (weekly, monthly & quarterly) and accurate reporting, analysis and key insights of key social media reports (content analysis, social conversations/intelligence, trends/content ideations, audience insights insights, competitor research analysis) for a variety of brands and campaigns across all key channels including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok and Pinterest
• Storytelling with Data - Proven ability in writing compelling and clear narratives based off data, translating insights into actionable recommendations for our clients and optimizations for our Creative and Strategy teams
• Support - Comfortable providing one on one group support to... individuals for our social media listening tools and providing ad-hoc support to the team when needed
• Trends - Keep abreast of the latest social and digital media trends and formats
• Other tasks as required

Qualifications
• 2-3 years experience in digital/social analytics role
• Extensive knowledge of social media analytics including TikTok, LinkedIN, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
• Ability to
• Experience building dashboards for KPIs
• Understanding of digital and social media marketing strategies
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Highly self-motivated with the ability to proactively analyze data and deliver insights to Community Management, Strategy and Accounts team
• Strong attention to detail and comfortable with large amounts of data
• Effective verbal and communication skills
• Ability to provide in-depth, actionable insights based on data and observed trends
• Hands-on experience with social media platforms and digital marketing campaigns
• Take ownership of tasks and drive projects through to completion
• In-depth understanding of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
• Experience with social media management tools, like Sprout Social, Sprinklr and Hootsuite
• Excellent communication skills
• Time management and multitasking skills
• BSc in Marketing, Communications or related field is desired
• Additional qualifications in digital technologies or social media management is a plus
