The company you'll be working for:
You will be joining a global AV technology solution provider who have extensive experience in delivering world class solutions to clients in live production, AV manufacturing, and system integration.
Through their compilation of industry leading brands, the company provides traditional and next generation audio visual services to a wide range of live events including music festivals, sporting occasions, and concerts, as well as high end bespoke system integration for customers in hospitality, theatres, sports stadiums and music concert arenas.
The opportunity for you:
Due to the continued growth and success of... the business, the IT and asset teams are planning to upgrade the internal stock management / inventory software.
We require a Data Analyst to take ownership of a critical data migration project for the company.
This will require someone to perform a range of ETL (extract, transform, load) processes including data cleansing, sandbox testing of the new software and the eventual migration onto the new platform.
This would be a great opportunity for a Data Analyst who is interested in running a project from start to finish, be involved in stakeholder engagement, process improvement and new process implementation, the creation company governance and data policies and the on-going BAU support and coordination for the data within the business.
Details of the role:
Job title: Data Integrity Analyst
Role type: Permanent, full time
Location: Remote with some travel to a office occasionally if required (Birmingham, London, Manchester)
Salary: Between £30,000 - £35,000 (dependent on experience) plus benefits
What you will be doing:
As the Data Integrity Analyst you will:
# Coordinate and deliver the data migration from the existing system to the new platform.
# Perform data cleansing on the 6500+ SKUs within the company database
# Analyse data to identify anomalies and errors
# Assisting in the creation of new processes and procedures for data capture and management
# Create new company forms, naming standards and categorisation for datasets
# Be the companywide point of contact for any questions related to the new inventory system
# Maintain the integrity of records within the software
# Collaborate with warehouse employees and other staff to ensure information within the database is correct
Your background:
To be considered for this role it is likely that you will have experience and skills in some or all of the below areas:
# Data analyst or similar experience # Technical skills with CSV, XML, SQL and ideally Claris / FileMaker.
# Good communication skills
# A methodical and logical approach # Good problem solving and analytical skills
