Cox Prosight is a new Internet of Things (IoT) venture within Cox Communications. Cox Prosight is a next generation RTLS that helps hospitals secure, streamline and modernize operations with our advanced IoT platform applications including asset tracking, staff safety, patient experience, and environmental monitoring.

You'll be part of the Cox Prosight Customer operations team, working with a dynamic team of professional intrapreneurs passionate about solving customer needs using disruptive technologies.

The presales engineer role will deliver pricing proposals, detailed design and take-off documentation, site survey assessments, implementation project plans, technical RFP responses, and floor plan digitization. They will also coordinate with partners and vendors as appropriate to complete proposals and associated project plans.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
• Deliver pricing proposals, detailed design and take-off documentation, site survey assessments, implementation project plans, technical RFP responses, and floor plan digitization
• Provide technical and functional experience implementing RTLS and IoT capabilities in a hospital setting; represent Prosight as an industry expert in RTLS and IoT
• Coordinate with partners and vendors as appropriate to complete proposals and associated project plans
• Conduct large-scale training and coaching efforts at customer locations
• Organize and prioritize projects in a deadline-intensive environment while working in a team environment to assist in the cohesive delivery of the project deliverables
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Minimum
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent in a related field
• Presales, technical sales, and solution architecture experience (3 years) in the areas of healthcare information technology, IoT deployments, or enterprise hardware & software
• Strong architectural and engineering expertise in implementing Hospital RTLS systems
• Deep knowledge of Project Management practices and proficiency in supporting tools, including MS Project and Visio
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%

Preferred
• Detailed knowledge of Wi-Fi, BLE, Bluetooth, Infrared, Ultrasound, and UWB technologies and protocols
• Technical environment knowledge with networking vendors, Aruba and Cisco; IoT device and application security; and Cloud applications
• Experience using Autocad, Autodesk, Bluebeam. or similar software
• Knowledge of workflow in hospital systems
• Knowledge of Project Management practices and proficiency in Microsoft Office, including MS Project and Visio
