The Role

CrossFund is looking for a QA Automation Engineer who will research and identify root causes, and advocate for the bug/software changes that will enhance the stability of supported applications and the overall customer experience

Your responsibilities will include:
• Participating in project Scrum meetings and processes, analyze requirements, and plan/estimate QA efforts.
• Developing and executing test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated... for multiple diverse web-based and mobile applications.
• Defining, applying, and enforcing standard procedures and best practices for software testing quality assurance.
• Identifying opportunities to apply automation and implement tools and utilities that enhance testing capabilities, effectiveness, and overall software quality.
• Monitoring and tracking testing status and issues, generate metrics and reports as needed.

Ideal Profile

Skills Required:
• You have 3-5 years’ hands-on experience programming and executing automated test scripts using a framework such as Selenium WebDriver (or similar tool with a willingness to learn) for end-to-end UI automation.
• You are familiar with Cypress, Selenium, Pytest and other test automation frameworks.
• You have proficiency in one or more programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Php.
• You have knowledge of API/web services testing tools such as POSTMAN or SoapUI.
• You have experience with native mobile application testing tools such as Appium or Android/iOS device emulators is ideal.
• You have experience with SQL and leveraging queries or relational databases to support data-driven testing.
