Manager ESG & HSE and Facility Management (m/f/d)

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the HSE & Facility department in line with the site-specific and Group-specific objectives and ethical values, including the associated authority to issue directives and duty of care, as well as organizational and auditing duties in this area.

The main tasks and responsibilities include:

Creation... of all conditions to enable employees to develop and perform in accordance with their potential.

General duty of care for compliance and execution of the points mentioned below as well as the associated, partly legally required control, supervision, selection and training duty with regard to the specialist personnel employed for this purpose.

Compliance Management HSE / ESG:

Responsible for the implementation of all legally required and necessary measures to achieve conformity with the Austrian Employee Protection Act as well as Trade and Water Law.

Authorized person to represent the company by relevant authorities and organizations (municipal authorities, provincial authorities, labor inspectorate, AUVA).

Responsible for organization and process management for occupational safety and health management.

ESG data provision and reporting according to EU requirements in the CSRD system.

Sustainability management in the context of Flowserve ESG orientation (Environmental, Social and Governance).

Joint responsibility for occupational safety in the context of implementing, tracking, and complying with processes, instructions, and guidelines, including Group guidelines, as well as campaigns and measures to avoid and prevent occupational accidents, occupational illnesses and work-related health hazards.

Facility Management:

Implementation of all maintenance, repair and building renewal measures required to maintain the value-added processes and infrastructure of real estate and facilities.

Execution of related capital expenditure projects (CAPEX) within approved resources and planned quality, schedule, and cost targets.

Coordination and performance monitoring of external facility service providers for building cleaning, company canteen, building services and reception including necessary negotiations.

Completed Higher Technical School with Matura and/or University of Applied Sciences or University in a technical field.

Several years of experience in leading large teams in the field of HSE & Facility.

Completed training as a safety specialist an advantage.

Experience in risk management and confidence in handling key figures.

Strong soft skills and leadership abilities.

Solid communication skills, both written and verbal.

Negotiation skills and ability to build strong working relationships.

Ability to work under pressure and be flexible.

Independent, analytical, and solution-oriented approach to work.

Initiative, diligence, ability to work in a team and sense of responsibility.

Fluency in German and English.

Required information pursuant to section 9 of the Austrian Treatment Act (GleichbehandlungsG): Minimum yearly gross remuneration as per collective agreement from € 70.738,50 p.a. upwards – overpayment depending on qualifications and professional experience
