Research & Application Manager - Laboratory

Job Responsibilities:
• Develop research proposals based on Company’s directions and needs;
• Manage daily operation of research laboratory and lead a research team of chemists and technicians;
• Plan and... manage research projects, and follow through to application within the schedule and budget;
• Manage the material development projects and laboratory testing services;
• Review and approve research reports, and share the research result to departments in the Group;
• Liaison with vendors for purchase and maintenance of laboratory equipment and testing materials;
• Cultivate relationships and collaborate with other research centers;
• Conduct information research mainly on the updated international product standard and safety requirements;
• Perform ad hoc assignments by management.

Requirements:
• Degree holder in industrial chemistry, chemical engineering, polymer science ,analytical chemical or any related discipline;
• Minimum 5-8 years working experience in similar industry and organization;
• Minimum 3-5 years solid experience in management of research laboratory operation and maintenance; research group; project development;
• Knowledge in operating the chemical analytical instrument;
• Experience in chemical mixture and process;
• Knowledge of different printing and/or secondary printing process technology will be an advantage;
• Good command of English, Chinese, and Mandarin;
• Good written skills in technical reports and research papers;
• Familiar with using statistical software and office use software;
• Strong analytical mind and critical thinking;
• Willing to work under pressure and independently;
• Workbase in Dongguan
