My client who is arguably one of the most collaborative and innovative consultancy in the industry at the moment, are in search of a principal scientist who is looking to grow a team. To be successful in this role we are looking for an experienced toxicologist who has vast experience working in a consultancy setting and who also has experience working in product stewardship within the chemical industry. In this role you will also be expected to generate revenue which in turn will allow you to become involved in the decision making processes of the company.

What a day to day will look like?

Generate revenue with existing clients and developing new clients
Deliver high quality products to clients
Support the career growth of staff
Promote and expand the firm's reputation, as well as one's personal reputation, by presenting at scientific conferences and publishing in the peer-reviewed scientific literature
Ensures that work is performed by the most appropriate staff and in accordance with the applicable standard of care and applicable licensure requirements.

What you will need to succeed.

Advanced degree in toxicology, or similar field
At least 15 years of directly relevant experience
Pertinent certifications (e.g., DABT)
Successful track record in generating revenue and completing projects on time, on schedule, and with high quality
At least 5 years of experience managing technically complex projects and supervising the work of a high-functioning, multidisciplinary team
