An exciting opportunity is currently available for an experienced Principal Project Officer (Environmental Sustainability) to join the New Bundaberg Hospital Project Team at the Bundaberg Hospital within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The Wide Bay area is arguably one of the most beautiful regions of Queensland. The Health Service stretches from Agnes Water in the North to Maryborough in the South and provides acute care services to a population of over 200,000 residents including several rural communities.

Your Opportunity
• This role will be responsible for leading the development, and assisting in the implementation, of a sustainability strategy for the New Bundaberg Hospital Project (NBHP). It will undertake a diverse range of activities across Environmental Sustainability functions in accordance with a view to developing a blueprint for all HHS infrastructure projects. It will... oversee the development of innovative best practice strategies, policy initiatives and programs relating to carbon emissions, sustainable sourcing, waste reduction and avoidance, energy and water usage, ensuring alignment with Queensland Health's and whole-of-government strategies.

Temporary Part Time (32 hours p.f.) from date of appointment for a period of 12 months with the possibility of extension.

Our Offer

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $62,954 p.a., comprising salary rates between $61.58 - $66.09 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO7) (Temporary Part Time, 32 hours p.f. from date of appointment for a period of 12 months with the possibility of extension).
