The Marketing Manager Norway is responsible for the development and leadership of the Norwegian Marketing activities, focussing particularly on product marketing, customer marketing and marketing communications to support customer retention, new customer acquisition and profitable sales growth in Norway. This role requires strong working partnerships with the global Salmon Marketing Team, Norwegian commercial and technical teams to design and execute strategies that successfully position our existing products and take new products to market. The ultimate goal is to make sure we have the right products and to guide growth and usage of the range of products within Norway’s overall portfolio both now and for the longer term. The Role You will be the marketing lead within Norway, owning the marketing function and leading the development and execution of product marketing, customer marketing and marketing communication plans. Responsible for the local Marketing Team (1fte), to support and guide in performance, growth and continuous improvement of marketing skills. Work divisionally with colleagues both in the Salmon Division and Group Marketing supporting the overall ambitions of the company Product Marketing Focus time and energy on marketing of our global and local product portfolio. Analysing and reviewing the market for trends that could represent new opportunities, threats, or will alter future products. Responsible for BioMar Norway’s product positioning, messaging and promotion, attuned to customer needs, behaviours and market trends, and aligned on divisional level. Ensure differentiation of BioMar products by helping to build strong value propositions that provide a competitive edge, by detailed analysis and understanding of the competitive situation at all times Work with the divisional product marketers to ensure the products within the Norwegian portfolio are fully understood by all stakeholders through educational initiatives Collaborate with Commercial and BioFarm (technical support) teams to understand the changing customer landscape, customer needs and use-cases, and how these should influence future marketing strategy In conjunction with the Product Marketing Team develop successful and integrated product launches based on clear value propositions and solid marcom plans that maximise results in raising product awareness, creating adoption and realising budgeted volumes Ability to lead a project team to define and deliver the go-to-market strategy and timing for all new products or product enhancements, ensuring engagement from all key areas across the business Responsible for post-launch evaluation, ensuring that the product grows market share and that the product moves from awareness to adoption in targeted market segments. Marketing Communication Create and deploy the global content calendar, focusing on the key brand values and messages, with the right mix of channels, while ensuring that the calendar is adapted to local market and customer needs Be an expert, spokesperson, and participant for Norwegian industry stakeholders, press and work group initiatives to uphold a positive image of the industry and the company Develop appropriate MarCom KPI’s to measure ROI on defined marketing objectives Customer marketing Define strategies and execute marketing activities directed at customers, specifically designed to nurture, drive retention, build customer loyalty, advocacy to increase customer profitability. Support with sales enablement activities, for example, creation of sales tools, bid preparation, communication, and training. Segment and profile customers to build a customized sales, service and marketing approach for target segments. Map the customer journey and develop appropriate marketing activities to help customers move from awareness to advocacy. Define key touchpoints to identify continuous improvement of customer interaction on various levels and in different commercial processes Help to develop the customer portal to support sales and implement marketing initiatives The Ideal CandidateQualifications & Experience Degree qualified preferably in Marketing or Communications or any other related field. An equivalent of this educational background in work experience is also acceptable. 5+ years of marketing or marketing communications experience in majority B2B business, preferably in Aquaculture or similar sector. Ideally with Project Management qualification Experience with leading operational and strategic initiatives as program lead/project manager Experience of engaging, motivating and challenging teams and individuals at all levels of an organisation, both directly and cross-functionally Experience of working in a highly technical environment with the ability to present to customers/stakeholders in a non-technical way. Proven track record working globally in a matrix style organisation. Able to show equal ability to successfully manage people/process and systems Familiarity with global aquaculture landscape (e.g., customers, products, regulations).
