What You’ll Do
• Monitor current category market conditions, OEM competitive landscape, technology roadmaps and identify supply/demand challenges & opportunities.
• Maintain supply-demand database for various battery critical minerals.
• Analyze commodity markets, evaluate trading volumes & statistics, bid/ask prices and evaluate cost of production of different mining assets to anticipate supply/demand impact on market prices.
• Develop hedging strategies to mitigate Tesla’s exposure to commodity prices.
• Attend industry conferences to maintain a pulse of key suppliers and up-and-coming suppliers in the battery critical mineral space.
• Evaluate supplier business proposals and present recommendations that will result in cost savings, avoidance or containment.
What You’ll Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field and/or equivalent experience or evidence of exceptional deductive ability
• Expert level proficiency in social analytics and listening tools
• Experience using multiple Social Channel Analytic
• Experience using data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) and web analytics
• Experience in analyzing datasets in Excel
• Ability to create high quality presentations
• Perform advanced statistical analyses
• 2+ years practical experience in a social media analytics and measurement role

Expected Compensation

$68,000 - $234,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
