What you’ll do

As part of Bank of the West, you’ll be making a positive impact on the environment, your community, and the planet at a leading sustainable bank.

You’ll leverage your database and visualization skills to develop complex datasets; maintain, enhance, and build dashboards to support important business decisions within the commercial banking group. You’ll use your BI tool knowledge and your analytical skills to find business opportunities in the data.

You’ll become the point person for the dashboards and datasets that you own and you’ll collaborate with internal partners including business development and strategy teams as well as senior management.

Success will be defined by meeting individual goals that contribute to profitable growth, operational efficiency, and a great customer experience.

Qualifications

What you need
• Strong SQL, data collection, data manipulation, and research skills
• Deep level of understanding of various relational database design concepts including relational and dimensional.
• Strong Visualization skills using either Tableau, Power BI or equivalent BI tools.
• Ability to summarize complex information into simple to understand information
• Ability to develop relationships with multiple stakeholders throughout an organization
• Strong problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude
• Experience with Extract Transform and Load (ETL) tools a plus.
• Knowledge of the banking and financial services industries a plus

Annual Hiring Range:

$93,000.00-$131,500.00

The base salary opportunity can vary based on candidate’s geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for annual incentives.
