Il Buco al Mare, the hottest restaurant in Amagansett from Donna Lennard and the il Buco Family, is looking for an experienced Beverage Manager to join our team !

The Bar/ Beverage Manager assists in the daily operations of the restaurant, working to maximize profitability while upholding the company’s mission, values, policies, quality and guest experience standards. They should be able to keep... up in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure.

We are looking for someone who shares our passion for great food and wine, that provides warm hospitality, and thrives in a guest-focused and collaborative teamwork-based environment. This candidate is familiar with beverage systems, ordering, inventory. You will be supporting the Beverage Director in all aspects of the operations, and learning from their wealth of knowledge and of depth of understanding about all things Wine & Beverage. This is a seasonal positon with opportunity to become year round.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

+Create FOH schedules and train FOH staff.

+Manage and evaluate employees’ performance

+Monitor and record FOH inventory as well as order new supplies

+Edit POS with menu updates and pricing changes

+Recruit and train new employees to meet restaurant standards

+Adhere to and implement sanitation and safety regulations

+Work with Beverage Director on training of employees on all new and exsisting offerings

+Manage the team in the GM absence.

Qualifications:

+Must be able to work in Amagansett, NY.

+2 years restaurant management experience in high-volume establishments.

+Extensive food and wine knowledge.

+Experience with POS, payroll, bar management, F&B cost control and financial understanding.

+Familiar with scheduling & Human Resources laws.

+Hamptons experience is preferred but not necessary.

+Must be flexible, able to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
