Mō te tūranga - About the role
We are excited to welcome applicants who are new or recently qualified New Zealand Registered Dietitians to join the dietetic team at Dunedin, Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand - Southern. We have a vacancy for a New Graduate clinical dietitian for a fixed-term period covering parental leave.
This role will see you based within the acute inpatient Dietetic and Nutrition team at Dunedin... Hospital. The caseload will extend across the acute medical, surgical and rehabilitative settings, with a focus on frailty.
This is an exciting and rewarding role for a newly qualified dietitan. This role offers variety and will capitalise on your passion fordietetic careacross the continuum of healthcare. You will work alongside highly experienced Dietitian clinicians, and within the wider Multidisciplinary teams, and extend your entry level knowledge and skills across your caseload. The wider team provides additional learning opportunities and support as you explore areas for future career development.

The Dunedin Dietetic team offers supervision and ongoing professional development. As a New Zealand Registered Dietitian, holding a current Annual Practicing Certificate with Dietitian Prescriber endorsement you may have a role in supervision of early career dietitians within the wider dietitian team.

Utu whānui - Salary range
This role belongs to the PSA/DHB Allied, Public Health and Technical Multi-Employer Collective Agreement and falls between step 3 ($68,371 p.a.) to Step 8 ($85,992 p.a pro-rata).
