Currently we are looking for an experienced Senior Accounting Manager to join our growing Finance Team in Berlin, Germany. In this role you will help us further strengthen our financial processes. You will work alongside two Accounting Team members and report into the Accounting Team Lead.

CHANCES AND PERSPECTIVES:
• Own statutory accounting for German legal entities (month-end, year-end closings)
• Support with tax reporting
• Lead factoring submissions
• Liaise with local government agencies & auditors
• Be the main contact point in Germany for HQ Accounting Team
• Prepare account reconciliations
• Ensure adherence to global accounting... policies & guidelines
• Work on improving our accounting processes
• Provide ad-hoc analysis
• Collaborate with the provider of outsourced accounting services, FP&A, IT, Customer Service & other functions

PERSONALITY AND COMMITMENT:
• Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics
• Up to 7 years of experience in the accounting profession, with an emphasis in German GAAP & IFRS
• ACCA/CIMA qualification is a big plus
• Experience in a global/international company/Big 4 is a big plus
• Proficiency with SAP ERP (preferably R/3)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (experience with PowerBI is a big plus)
• Fluent in English & German
• Never ending curiosity & desire to learn
• Ability to work independently & be a strong team player at the same time
