Responsibilities

German speaking Junior Financial Controller
Salary: Up to £55,000 DOE + Excellent Benefits
Location: Reutlingen, Germany
At commutable distance from Stuttgart, Esslingen, Tubingen, Ulm

• ** HYBRID working pattern- 2-3 days in the office) ***
• ** Role can be based in Reutlingen Germany or Cambridge, UK ***

Main Duties:
To manage financial operations and provide support to the Financial Controller.

The Role:
- To report directly to Financial Controller and assist them in the creation and presentation of the monthly accounts
- To forecast company performance and prepare budgets accordingly
- To prepare reports, budget planning, forecasts, liquidity plans and cash flow
- To develop relationships with bankers, auditors, and tax authorities
- To identify new metrics to drive business performance while... minimizing risk
- To execute accurate reporting, enabling yourself to analyse options and make financial recommendations
- To provide insight into business performance against competitor and industry trends
- To comply with local financial requirements by studying existing and new legislation, and maintaining compliance

Candidate's Profile

- Fluent in German essential (written and spoken)
- Accounting qualification is essential
- Previous experience in supervisory/managerial position
- Commercial and business awareness
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- An analytical approach to work
- High numeracy and sound IT skills
