Position Description:

The Senior Ti/Infra Project Manager, will be responsible for planning, directing and coordinating the design and implementation activities of infra and IT projects to ensure that project goals or objectives are achieved within the prescribed timeframe and funding parameters.

Role:

IT Project Manager, Infrastructure Specialist We are seeking a Project Manager to execute key telephony infrastructure upgrade projects across the country. IS&T infrastructure audit planning - and execution across multiple sites globally - strong budgeting and planning skills. Skills in defining the feasibility and study phase for large underground projects, new mines, life of mine (LOM) (leading a team / for a mixed on-shore / off-shore / near-shore rate) would be an asset. The candidate will work directly with clients to ensure deliverables are within the applicable scope and budget. The candidate will coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are... compatible and hire new talent as needed to meet client needs.

Responsibilities:

Coordination and completion of projects on time, on budget and within scope. Oversee all aspects of projects. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, monitor and summarize project progress. Prepare reports for senior management regarding project status. Responsibilities: Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for seamless execution of projects Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget Ensure availability and allocation of resources Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress Manage changes to scope, schedule and costs using appropriate audit techniques Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques Report and escalate to management as required Ensure that all projects are properly handed off to operational teams. Participate in relevant IS&T and PMO governance forums. Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders Perform risk management to minimize project risks Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation Track project performance and achievement of short and long term goals and/or benefits Meet budgetary goals and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis Develop comprehensive project plans to share with clients as well as other staff Use and continually develop leadership skills.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience managing IT and infrastructure related IT infrastructure projects. Excellent communication skills with clients and internally. Ability to lead a small team of professionals. Spoken and written English is required and bilingualism is an asset. Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Experience in the infrastructure environment and manufacturing sector is a plus.
