We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager, Technology Control. Principal responsibilities Support Entity RCA against group RTCL Support entity to fulfill local regulatory requirement and performance management/governance as internal third party for HSBC bank market business Support Entity CCO lead to validate design and operating effectiveness of the key controls through internal review, inquiry, observation, sampling, re-performance and recalculation. Review of risks and key controls through end-to-end process walkthroughs, events or thematic reviews, data-driven reviews or issue read across, and evidence reviews. Carry out activities to help ensure control assessments are accurate, effective, comply with procedures and templates, and meet quality control requirements. Assist with the promotion of accountable risk and control decision-making based on quality data and commercial analysis Assist with the provision of specialist risk and control knowledge and insights Assisting with efforts to continuously improve the control environment and monitoring of risk, including behaviours Actively challenge poor, inefficient or excessive controls, related tasks and behaviours Assist with Influencing and shaping the development of regulatory frameworks in collaboration with internal parties Promote desired behaviours and a positive risk & control culture across the remit area Requirements Requirements 6+ years risk & control management experience Strong process audit/control testing skills Flexible and adaptable being able to handle and prioritise competing demands in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills to be able influence and challenge stakeholders Strong written, verbal and presentation skills Ability to maximise business performance i.e. developing, aligning and translating strategies & plans to achieve business and functional goals A desire to find ways to continually improve the service delivered. Identifying, defining and solving problems that impact on your work or the wider business Ability to deliver Insightful Risk and control Information Ability to provide control expertise CISA is plus Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
