Project Nature:

(T26) The proposed staff shall be responsible for providing technical and implementation support for the project of the Integrated Custodial and Rehabilitation Management System (iCRMS) and the IT Infrastructure.

Job Description:

(T26) The proposed staff shall take a technical focused role for the implementation of iCRMS and IT Infrastructure of CSD. The proposed staff shall be responsible for:

(a) Working closely with the IT contractors, reviewing the technical architecture of the application infrastructure/components and the corresponding implications;

(b) Advise and facilitate the IT contractors in sourcing IT solutions and studying the advanced IT technologies for the implementation of systems in CSD;

(c) Review on the IT system deliverables by the IT contractors;

(d) Participate in the evaluation of IT products for the application of... appropriate IT technologies/solutions, and to develop technical specifications for the related IT procurements;

(e) Provide support for application rollout out, including data conversion, carry out testing, site deployment and system rollout activities at correctional institutions; and

(f) To carry out any other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 5.0 Requirements The proposed staff must have working experience in:-

(a) Reviewing the IT deliverables in according to the relevant Government standard

(b) Performing a major technology rollout/data conversion with user size of 100 or above

(c) Good communication skills and customer service skills;

(d) Good command of Chinese and English;

(e) Self-motivated, independent, diligent, polite, pro-active, fast learning and good team player;

(f) Working at remote correctional facilities for provision of support services as and when required; and

(g) Undergoing integrity check by HKPF is required.

Technical Skills:

. At least 3 years' experience in IT Application Development and Management (ADM);

. At least 3 years' experience in IT Security (ITS);

. At least 3 years' experience in Oracle RDBMS (ODB);

. At least 3 years' experience in IT Operational Management (OPM);

. At least 3 years' experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support (SIM);

. At least 3 years' experience in Website Administration (WEA);

. 3 years' experience in Websphere Application Server Administration (WAA) is an advantage;

. 3 years' experience in WebSphere Application Server (WAS) is an advantage;

. 3 years' experience in Security Risk Assessment and Audit (SAA) is an advantage.

Non-technical Skills:

. At least 3 years' experience in Government tendering procedures (GTP);

. At least 3 years' experience in IT Service Management (SMG);

. At least 3 years' experience in vendor management (VMG).
• Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
• At least 5 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 2 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity
