The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) is charged with the responsibility for maintaining the stability and integrity of the monetary and financial systems of Hong Kong. There is now an excellent opportunity for eligible candidates to apply for the following position:

Systems Analyst – Application System Engineer

Key Responsibilities
• Analyse business requirements and enhance existing application systems to meet business needs
• Provide technical and application support, and perform application administration and performance tuning on application systems
• Manage testing environments to support user acceptance testing
• Liaise and follow up with solution vendor to resolve system incidents
• Assist in managing the change control process on application systems
• Assist in the system implementation, and acquisition of computer hardware, software and related services

Requirements
• University degree in business information systems, information technology, computer science or related... fields
• At least 2 years of relevant IT experience
• Experience in low code development, Java programming, SQL, Python and UNIX / Linux shell scripts preferred
• Hands-on experience in technical / application support on treasury system (e.g. Calypso, Murex or SimCorp, etc.) a plus
• A good team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Need to work outside normal office hours as and when required

Conditions of service
• Successful candidates will be appointed on fixed contract terms.
