We are recruiting an Assistant Room Service Manager Main Responsibilities: - To supervise and participate in running of an efficient and profitable operation in the areas for which you are responsible. Liaise with your manager to actively encourage a professional and dedicated team. - To supervise colleagues to consistently achieve the... service and product delivery standards with a high degree of client care and service at all times - To co-ordinate the service of food and beverage efficiently and accurately. - To report and follow up all maintenance defaults affecting efficient and professional delivery of service. - To involve with service related to VIP guests - To respond proactively to guest queries, ensuring that appropriate action is taken in the absence of the manager/assistant, followed by effective communication - To perform and check all duties related to in-room-dining check list - Perform any other reasonable duties as required by the Room Service Manager - To carry out and supervise daily, weekly and monthly inventory - To maintain and order all the store requisition - To prepare and control tables before being delivered to the rooms - To conduct daily communication meeting with staff prior to shift - Excellent knowledge of food and beverage to be able to service and up-sell the product - Coordinate all aspects of service to include but not limited to: - Food and beverage requirements - Special attention guests - Table setup - Special requests - Complimentary dessert/ drinks etc. - Billing instructions - Authorized signatures Job Requirements: - High School qualification or equivalent - Degree or Higher National Diploma in Hospitality/Hotel/Business Management is preferred - A minimum of 2/3 years of experience as Assistant IRD Manager - French & English mandatory - Standards driven and motivational leader - You will have exceptional inter-personal, management and organizational skills. - Must be of smart appearance with excellent personal hygiene standards Please note this is a full time permanent position Benefits: We provide a comprehensive Benefits Package which includes - meals whilst on duty - Guest Hotel experience for employees - Discounted Room Nights - Discount at F&B; Outlets - 43 Paid Holidays including Bank & Public Holidays - Colleague recognition and reward programmes - Exciting range of learning and development programmes - Regular colleague social and wellbeing events - Opportunities for promotion and transfer across the group You can expect a modern and very personal work environment as well as multiple development potentialities within the hotel and the Mandarin Oriental Group.
