Job Description

Reporting to the President and CEO, the Provost, and Vice-President Academic provides leadership for short and long-term academic planning as well as for the development and overall implementation of College-wide educational, human resources, and fiscal policies pertaining to the Provost portfolio. The Provost, as senior academic leader, is responsible for advancing the academic mandate of the College through the development and implementation of strategies that promote growth and success in teaching and learning and applied research. The Provost ensures integration of library services, program development initiatives, program review/renewal processes, and the application of technology to pedagogy to assist in delivering on the mission of the college. The Provost provides strategic leadership and direction for the delivery of student support and development services for the College community including registrar and enrollment, accessibility, counselling, athletics... and student engagement, and is responsible for advancing indigenization of the College and curricula. In addition, the Provost provides leadership to the entire portfolio on matters relating to advancing Equity, Diversity and Inclusion and mitigation of climate change(sustainability).
