Job Objectives

l To analyze, plan, co-ordinate, create and support database related activities that includes tasks across the full SDLC environments, from Dev to PROD.

Key Responsibilities

l Designing / Solutioning / Provisioning of DBA Support as per the Project needs.

l To deliver new Database setups / configurations & provision of various application environments

l To work with development team to understand the database requirements and suggest the suitable designs/procedures

l To work with development team to troubleshoot on any performance related issues and find solutions

l To be able to work... with other infrastructure teams like Unix Administrators, Networks team to complete the tasks as per the schedules.

l To be able to plan, implement, monitor, report & deliver various key Project requirements

l To be able to work with team member, guiding junior staff and take responsibility for deliverables

l Drive/Deliver automation in the environment provisioning, health checks & upgrades

Key Requirements

l At least 15 years IT experience, preferably spread across development and core infrastructure, with

l At least 5 years of experience working with Oracle 12c/19c, with banking/financial domain experience a plus

l At least 5 years pf experience with Oracle PL/SQL coding

l Extensive knowledge with Oracle RMAN backup & recovery, Patching, Upgrade, Flashback, Data Guard, Database Tuning

l Oracle database troubleshooting

l Experience working in Unix environments (Solaris/RHEL)

l Proficient in Unix shell scripting

l Database and SQL performance tuning

l Knowledge of Python and Power Shell is an added advantage.

Candidate with the following knowledge will be preferred :-

l Unix/Windows Basic administration

l Excellent knowledge of Oracle with good exposure to other databases

l Experience in working on a delivery focused environment

l Configuration Management concepts

l Degree from an accredited college / university

l Relevant certifications

l Excellent communication and inter-personal skills

l Team Player, ability to work with a flexible approach
