As part of this journey, we’re growing our audit team and are looking for talented individuals to assist in the delivery of audits in Europe and in our Corporate Center. Your role

We are looking for a Business Auditor to join our audit hub team in Spain. In this role, you will play a key role through execution of audit engagements including determination of scope, risk analysis and documentation of audit results in line with Group Audit standards, with limited supervision and with the support of the Auditor in Charge. You will get the opportunity to deep your knowledge of insurance operations and the ability to influence people within the organization. You will interact with teams across Europe, North America, Latin America and Asia-Pacific. This opportunity offers an international learning platform where you will share audit experience and knowledge, learn about new audit approaches and help build your career.

As a Business Auditor your main responsibilities will involve:
• Developing own knowledge and business awareness and building business relationships.
• Build an in-depth understanding of Group Audit standards and methodology
• Assist the Auditor in Charge in planning & determination of the audit scope for relevant engagements (with some supervision and guidance) and in reaching an agreement on the risk analysis and most appropriate audit techniques (including data analytics).
• Operate on smaller and / or less complex assignments, with sufficient guidance and subsequent review
• Taking ownership of your audit work, applying your professional judgement, documenting, and reporting results in line with Group Audit standards and methodologies, with sufficient guidance and subsequent review from the Auditor in Charge.
• Support the Auditor in Charge in influencing the business by agreeing actions and delivering the final audit report, when needed
• Contributing to the Group Audit global team through sharing own technical knowledge and engaging in our continuous training program.

Your skills and experience
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field or professional qualification
• Minimum 2 years of proven experience in Audit related roles, preferably in the insurance sector
• Knowledge of Internal Audit Standards, internal control framework and audit testing.
• Experience of working in multinational and complex organizations is advantageous.
• Good organization, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Someone with an inquisitive mindset who is not afraid to ask questions
• Very good English (verbal and written) is required. Additional languages is advantageous.
• Communication and relationship management skills. Ability to interact with stakeholders.
• Ability to work customer-focused, collaborative, flexible, persistent and results-oriented.
• Flexibility and endurance to cope with varying workloads, pressures and priorities.
• Passion and enthusiasm to continue to grow yourself and others around you

Additional Information

Work location is Spain, Barcelona or Madrid with some travel to other locations, primarily within Europeas required.
