Registered Psychiatric Nurse RPN 4

32 hours per week - 0.8 EFT- Permanent part time

Up to $25,000 incentive payments may be available to support relocation
(Be reimbursed for rent, childcare, school fees, relocation costs and more)

The Victorian Government has allocated funds to support rural and regional Area Mental Health Services (AMHS) to provide incentives to attract workers to roles that are difficult to fill.

The new workforce relocation and incentive grants program is being administered by Rural Agency Workforce Victoria (RWAV).

About the role

This position will work with all mental health staff untilising advanced clinical nursing knowledge and skills to provide clinical leadership and positively influence quality of care

Key Responsibilities
• Participate in the development and delivery of education sessions for mental health staff
• Demonstrate advanced clinical nursing knowledge, skills and expertise that will positively influence the quality of care within community teams
• Participate in the implementation of core competency and other training packages

Skills and experience
• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency for practice as a Division 1 nurse
• A range of clinical experience in mental health settings
• The completion of, or willingness to undertake, Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment
• Relevant post graduate qualifications will be highly

This position is paid in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2020 - 2024. The classification is Registered Psychiatric Nurse (NP75-NP77) which ranged from $54.44 to $58.62 per hour.
