YOUR IMPACT

The Air Cargo Operations Manager will:
Manage day to day operations across the region. Review audit findings and ensure they are concluded satisfactorily and within set timeframe. Execute adhoc charter and project operations... as dispatched by Network Planning Department. Regularly attend operations at stations across the region to ensure operations are executed in accordance with MAC standards. Regularly review stations training status and records to ensure constant compliance Attend local industry meetings to ensure that MAC has an up to date and accurate understanding of governmental and industry changes. Meet regularly with stations, maintaining understanding of operations and conditions across the regions. Meet regularly with representatives of vendors and other stakeholders across the region Ensure all regulatory reporting has been completed Review and approve operations related invoices

YOUR BACKGROUND

To succeed in the role, you will need the following background and key requirements:
Have at least 10 years of air cargo experience and 5 years at management level with a extensive knowledge of Airline Cargo operations activities. Have a thorough knowledge of Cargo Operations, and an understanding of hardware, software and protocols related to cargo handling systems. Have extensive knowledge and experience in negotiating and drafting IATA Standard Ground Handling Agreements. Have extensive knowledge and experience with ACMI, Charter, and dedicated lift solutions Have an extensive and in-depth knowledge of Industry and governmental air freight regulations including security and dangerous goods regulations Have strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Strive for high quality, focused on the top decision makers and have the ability to add strength to our teams. Be flexible, highly motivated, and open to travel all around the world. Must be fluent in English; further languages would be advantageous.
