We are looking to hire a Full-Stack Web developer to join our team, part of the Transaction Monitoring, working on the Trade Surveillance & Alerts Investigation platforms used across multiple businesses within our Institutional Clients Group.

You will work with the Data Scientists, Product Owners, Technical Leads/Architects and Business stakeholders to ensure we are meeting their requirements to develop and drive highly interactive experiences. You will take on a hands-on role and participate in design and development various web and backend components for the Transaction Monitoring & Alerts Disposition Platforms.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on an important project for the group, which will have huge impact on the business and our future design in this area.

This role is fully remote but we would ideally like to hire someone within 50-80 miles of Manchester.

Key Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain the Transaction Monitoring & Alert Disposition... platforms ensuring timely delivery of work items across the multiple initiatives/components.
• Contribute to research and suggestions for new projects for the Transaction Monitoring and Alerts Disposition space.
• Evaluate and perform POCs on new strategic technical products and applications.

Skills & Qualifications:
• Good current working knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, React and Node.js.
• Experience building micro-services and micro-frontends
• Passionate about databases and worked in the past with SQL\NoSQL technologies (SQL Server, Oracle, Couchbase, Mongo DB, etc.).
• Knowledge of streaming data and building APIs and visualisations around it.
• You are familiar with cloud computing concepts and DevOps tools (Docker, Openshift).
• Deliver great user experiences
• You have an appetite for taking on challenges and leveraging new technologies.
