Ø Correctly assess revenue in accordance with the relevant tariffs, and to secure its punctual collection. Ø Supervise the finances staff and substitute finance manager whenever needed. Ø To promptly bring to account, under the proper headings of the Budget and accounts, all monies collected. Ø Report to the Finance Manager any apparent defect in the system of revenue collection or any apparent waste or extravagance in expenditure which comes to his/her notice. Ø Controlling income and expenditure and general financial administration of the utility, ensuring that all revenues due to the utility are collected, and payments due by the utility including salaries and wages are duly made. Ø Prepare various financial statements; balance sheet statement, income or profit or loss statement, cash flow statement and owner’s equity statement and ensures that they are assembled.
