Job Description:

Our client based in West Cork are looking for a part qualified accountant with manufacturing and ERP implementation experience to be part of a team implementing SAP Business By Design, their new cloud-based ERP system.

The Role

The company has selected SAP Business By Design as its new ERP system partner and part qualified accountant will help in the implementation project across all 3 global sites.

The cutting-edge cloud-based ERP software has been chosen to provide senior and middle management with accurate and timely information. Phase one implementation of the enterprise-wide system is already under way with Purchasing, Sales, Banking & Finance implemented. Production, Warehousing, Field Service, CRM and CPQ modules will be developed and implemented in subsequent phases.

The part qualified accountant must first get an understanding of the business processes and key drivers and then help with the design Phase II of the ERP system accordingly.

The SAP... reporting system needs to be developed to ensure accurate timely monthly management accounts are produced for the Chief Executive & Board including Variance analysis, Productivity Reports, Margin analysis by division and geography.

The weekly dashboard should be developed to provide the information the managers need to monitor and run the business and to react quickly to changes.

The part qualified accountant will work with the management team to improve performance.

A new factory cost management and reporting system is to be developed within By Design. The Project Manager must gain an understanding of our factory flow and the accumulation of costs as the products are built in the factory. Efficient and accurate data capture of materials, labour and overheads is required so the system will give accurate and useful information to Supervisors and Management.

Qualifications & Experience

Part qualified accountant with at least 3 yearsâ experience.

Manufacturing experience with strong costing skills a must.
