Description

Supporting the designated persons on all aspects of the role: Capital and Financial Management (PCF-39A); Operational Risk Management (PCF-39B); Fund Risk Management (PCF-39C); Investment Management (PCF-39D); Distribution (PCF-39E); and Regulatory Compliance (PCF-39F).

Key Duties:
• Performance of internal duties on behalf of the Group's Dublin fund management company, overseeing the operational responsibilities of various funds and their respective regulatory & governance tasks.
• Oversight and control of the various Third-Party Administrators that operate as Fund Administrator & Accountants
• Assistance in the production & review of internal management... reporting
• Review of weekly, monthly, and annual NAVs as well as management accounts & financial statements (audited and unaudited)
• Assisting the Senior Managers in managing high priority projects at local management company level and at group level
• Working with the investment partnership teams to deliver on their operational objectives, including transactional activities
• Working with the internal Group functions such as Finance, Company Secretarial, Internal Audit and Compliance to ensure regulatory & governance requirements are adhered to.
• Provide team cover at all levels

Profile

The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of Funds activities. An accounting qualification would be an advantage. Candidates will ideally have experience of:
• The role of fund management companies and investment managemen
• Monitoring and control responsibilities
• The typical flows involved in Fund Administration & Accounting
• Financial accounting & management reporting
• Forecasting (eg cashflows)
• Funds industry regulatory requirements in Ireland

The job holder will demonstrate:
• A high level of attention to detail
• Self-motivation
• Ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Integrity

The job holder will have:
• Preferably a professional accountancy qualification
• Experience working in a fund management, investment management or fund administration environment (ideally offshore)
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Competency in core MS-Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Desire to work in a dynamic middle-office team where tasks may vary quite materially day-to-day
