Englisch – The Institute of Materials chemistry, Faculty of Chemistry at University of Vienna is currently seeking a PhD candidate, who is interested in the synthesis and characterisation of macroporous polymers.
The position is advertised for 4 years, starting with a contract duration of 1,5 years which will automatically be extended to a duration of 4 years, unless the employer does submit a nonextension notification after 12 months.

Englisch – The candidate will be... involved in the formulation, scale-up, processing and polymerisation of emulsion templates and the characterisation of the morphology as well as the physical properties of the resultant macroporous polymers. Participation in research, teaching and administration: - Participation in research projects / research studies - Participation in publications / academic articles / presentations - We expect the successful candidate to sign a doctoral thesis agreement within 12-18 months. - Participation in teaching and independent teaching of courses as defined by the collective agreement - Supervision of students - Involvement in the organisation of meetings, conferences, symposiums - Involvement in the department administration as well as in teaching and research administration
