Boost our team in Early Development
We are looking for an experienced Scientist/Senior Scientist at our R&D site in Martinsried, Germany, to strengthen our small, highly motivated Early Development team that is dedicated to moving preclinical vaccine candidates into clinical testing and beyond.

• Plan and monitor external pharmacology -, pharmacokinetic- and toxicology animal studies... performed by contract research organisations, including IND enabling studies required to advance novel vaccine candidates to clinical trials
• Plan, supervise and manage in-house mouse studies investigating the immunogenicity and efficacy of vaccines in close collaboration with BN’s Immunology group
• Report results, meet milestones within project timelines and budget
• Work with colleagues from different functions on overall project planning and execution
• Support regulatory documents (IB, IMPD, IND, MAA, BLA, etc.) by incorporating project-relevant nonclinical data
• Support nonclinical US government contract work
• Post-graduate (PhD) academic education in Bio/Life Sciences
• 5+ years of work experience , preferably including immunology/virology/vaccine development
• Proven experience in design, coordination, analysis and documentation of preclinical studies
• Broad experience of in vivo models and in vitro techniques (pharmacology studies in mice, cell culture and immunological methods)
• Excellent scientific writing and editing as well as written/oral communication skills with several years of professional experience
• Fluent in English (written and oral)
