If you’re ready to thrive in an accelerated growth environment, full of ideas and want to challenge the norm, you could be our new Content Writer.What you’ll doYou’ll help make... cinch.co.uk the go-to destination for information that helps people find and buy the right car from us and get the most out of their day-to-day motoring experience and needs.Reporting to our Head of Content, your primary job will be to write car reviews, ‘How to’ guides and ‘Top 10’ articles which help our search ranking. Your passion for motoring and flair for writing natural, conversational, SEO-friendly copy will help us reach millions of car buyers and owners across the UK each week. This is not a role covering breaking news, but when there’s a story to be told about motoring - and cinch’s role in that - you’ll be able to get the message across with a focus on the issues that our customers need to know about.Your experience, skills and style Passionate about motoring and cars, ideally including experience working in the automotive industryExperience creating top-notch informational, evergreen content for digital platforms – preferably in automotive, finance or e-commerceA skilled writer, able to land complex messages in a faff-free, conversational toneSEO content knowledge and experience of working to SEO keyword briefs (or doing your own keyword research)Experience using writing/research tools such as Ahrefs, Brightedge and GrammarlyTake a proactive approach to understanding how your content is performingComfortable working with different individuals and teams across all levels of the business – being an advocate for content marketing and SEOWell-organised, structured and logical in your thinking and approach to tasksA clear communicator, both verbally and in your copyWhat we need to seeEvidence of by-lined written work, be it in the form of a portfolio or a list of URLs. Proof that you’re capable of writing for a general audience and have a creative flair when it comes to writing engaging stories.LocationOur content team is based in Kings Cross, London.
