Job Description

We are looking for a Functional Analyst/Tester for our offices in Brussels.

As a Functional Analyst/Tester, you will be part of a highly skilled team that designs, develops, deploys, customizes, and supports the development and implementation of large-scale applications regarding EU Institutions Projects.

Your main duties will be:
• Participate and/or lead the workshops with the... customer, in order to gather business requirements and perform a fit/gap analysis
• Undertake the writing of the Project’s Deliverables
• Map user requirements to system capabilities
• Participate in the implementation of the configuration, parameterization, and customization of software modules
• Coordinate with the developers' team for software customizations
• Monitor the implementation of software customizations of the provided systems
• Perform Unit & Integration Tests of software customizations & custom development
• Participate and/or lead the User Acceptance Test (UAT), support activities and act as a point of contact for the Customer’s Users
• Act as liaison between the customer stakeholders and communicate issues raised by the Customer to the respective technical teams

Qualifications

If you have
• Master's Degree plus 10 years or bachelor's degree plus 14 years of ICT experience
• Experience as a functional analyst/product owner with agile methodology in (web) application development considered is a must.
• Testing experience is also a must
• Knowledge and understanding of relational databases are desirable
• Knowledge of the POWER BI platform would be nice to have
• Further experience with business process modeling (BPMN), XML standards (AkomaNtoso), and content or collaboration services platforms (Documentum, COM ARES/HAN, Sharepoint, O365) would be a plus.
• Fluency in the English language
