• Job Overview/ Purpose of the Role
This role is responsible for:
• Establishing positioning, identify target audiences, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels, segments and countries
• Leading the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration
• Analyzing customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies
• Creating, maintaining, and conducting analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies, complete with formal proposals and recommendations on tactics
• Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement the marketing strategy for Motorparts DRiV across SEAP
• Liaise with SEAP Sales to identify and develop product line value propositions
• Define and implement product line short and long-term strategies to optimize sales and profit in SEAP in... conjunction with Regional Sales Managers
• Implement the brand strategy through market segmentation and effective brand positioning
• Support country managers to drive business performance by delivering effective marketing plans for the specific products in their market segments
• Plans and oversees execution of promotional activities including print, digital media, trade shows, direct mail, point-of-purchase displays, and signage
• Implement programs to improve sales effectiveness for new and existing products
• Manages development, production, and distribution of promotional and collateral materials to support sales and marketing programs
• Plans and conducts market research to identify opportunities for increased sales
• Monitor market trends and the aftermarket competitive environment
• Manage marketing budget across all brands through SEAP region
Metrics/ KPI (optional – if applicable)
• Qualifications (Education/ Experience/ Key Competencies)
• University degree in Business Administration / Marketing Management / Commerce with +8 years of related experience preferably in the automotive aftermarket but not essential
• Marketing experience in CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) is advantageous
• Work experience with at least one global brand
• Experience in optimizing local and global matrix organization strategies
• Automotive and B2B experience is ideal, but not mandatory
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects from development through to execution
• Strong team work and excellent communication skills
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence direction internally and with customers
