Job Summary: Company: Live Nation Location: 3Arena, Dublin Reports to: Facilities Manager Working Hours: Full time, permanent Role Description This is a full-time permanent position within the Facilities Department of 3Arena, Ireland’s premier venue. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, this role is ideal for a highly flexible candidate with a strong all-round knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical systems. Due to the nature of the business there will be evening and weekend work on a regular basis. The work will involve liaising with contractors, visiting production staff, promoter staff and venue management on a daily basis. The successful candidate will have at least solid prior experience in a busy construction/electrical or mechanical environment. Who you are Competencies / Skills / Knowledge / Experience To be considered for this position you will ideally have an electrical or mechanical trade background. Experience of both will be an advantage Knowledge of modern building plant... Ability to carry out work at height Experience in a Maintenance role is a definite advantage Ideally have experience of working outside of regular 9 - 5 hours Good computer skills with working knowledge of MS Word and Excel Knowledge of safe work practice and procedures Behaviours The following attributes determine how the role will be carried out and are required to be a success A flexible and adaptable candidate with a can-do attitude. Hands-on, quick thinker able to problem solve effectively and efficiently Ability to show discretion and respect to touring artists within the Arena. What the role includes Operate and maintain all building systems such as: Electrical, Mechanical, AHU, Air-Con, Boilers, Pumps, DALI Lighting, Water, Fire Alarm, Sprinkler, BMS, Access Control etc. Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance Regular testing of life safety systems and recording of results Work as part of the maintenance team to develop, maintain and improve the maintenance program Maintain building structures, fabrics and finishes Work flexible hours including regular weekends due to the nature of the business.
