Job Summary:
Anemployee who, under the direction of the Principal or Site Supervisor,performs a variety of administrative, financial and clerical duties

Job Requirements:
1. Possessa recognized Office Administration program certificate from apost-secondary institution or equivalent business training institute.
Preferences will be given to candidates with related experience.

Note:

This relates only to new hires and current District personnel who havenot held a position as a Secretary in the past.
2. Trainingand demonstrated competence in the use of computers, word processing,spreadsheets, data bases (e.g. Microsoft Office, Excel, SchoolAdministrative System) is essential. 3. Abilityto exercise initiative, independent judgment and discretion.

In theabsence of the Principal or Site Supervisor, may be required to makeappropriate decisions and choices in a variety of situations andemergencies involving students, teachers, parents and the public.4.
Ability to direct work to others as... part of job duties.5. Ability to perform accounting duties related to the maintenance of trust accounts, petty cash and school/site buildings.6.

Abilityto be part of a team, maintain a professional attitude andconfidentiality in working relationships with all school personnel,students, parents and the public.7.
